Auction.com sold?

A few days ago Twitter and the blogs came alive with reports that Auction.com sold. According to reports, USHomeAuction.com (REDC) bought it for their real estate auction business, and in fact www.Auction.com does now point there.

Domain Name News reports on the name having been posted for sale at SitePoint.com with a bid of $2.5 million, and with a link to more information about the auction there.
