While news of the domain sale of Clothes.com for $4.9 million is new, it actually occurred last year. Techcrunch reported today that within the SEC filings of Amazon's acquisition of Zappos, Zappos reported the acquisition of the domain name clothes.com from Idealab in May 2008.
